The HCPSS Judy Center Early Learning Hub will be offering summer programming in July! Join us on Tuesdays from June 27-July25 for Baby and Me (newborn to 18 months) at 9:00am or Little Bulldogs (ages 2-4) at 10:00am. No classes will be held July 4th.

Did you join us for our 1st annual Judy Center Partnership fair? The Judy Center Learning Hub and partners like Talk with Me, Head Start, Brainy Acts, HCLS, and more joined up at Cradlerock Elementary School for an information fair on May 6th. There were games and sno-cones for the kids, too! We had a great turn out and we are looking forward to an even better one next year. Did you miss it? The last day of playgroups in the Judy Center for school year 2022-23 will be June 1st. Join us in May as we finish the year with fun, games, and learning!
HCPSS will have Spring Break from Monday, April 3- Monday, April 10. The Judy Center will be open April 4-6 from 9am-2pm. The Judy Center will be closed Friday, April 7 and Monday April 10.
Registration for full and half day prekindergarten programs for the 2024-25 school year is open! To be eligible for pre-K for the coming school year, your child must be 4 years old by Sept 1, 2024. The Judy Center will be closed on December 26th, December 27, December 30th, and January 2nd. We will be open on December 28th and 29th! All playgroups will resume on January 31st with Read for Health. Happy holidays and we can't wait to see you in January!
With winter settling in we would like to take a moment and remind all our families of how the Judy Center operates during winter weather.
The Judy Center follows HCPSS operating status. HCPSS will post on their webpage if schools are impacted by weather conditions. You can find more information here.
If HCPSS are on a 2 hour delay the Judy Center will not hold playgroups that day, but will open. On a 2 hour delay day the Judy Center will open at 10am.
If HCPSS are closed the Judy Center will be closed.
If HCPSS closes early due to weather conditions and an evening event was planned, the event will be canceled. The Judy Center will close early in accordance with the HCPSS.
It is hard to believe as we wind down from one holiday we are amping up for another. This month we will have a Family Together Night and our final playgroups before taking a little break in January.

There are new procedures this year when coming into the Judy Center. Before anyone can visit the Judy Center you must first go to Cradlerock’s front office and check-in. Once you have checked-in and gotten a visitor pass you will be able to come to the Judy Center. If you come right to the Judy Center you will be asked to go and check-in at the front office. This is following HCPSS visitor policy.
